Light Focal Points of Reality
At rare times in my life, I have had experiences which have led me to question reality in extreme depth and have concluded that reality itself is so confusing that the mind is, for the most of the time, lost from any real understanding of what its very nature is. In other words, the human mind fails to understand reality for the most part because it is lost within it and "cannot see the forest for the trees". The analogy of being lost in the forest is a perfect way to approach the nature of reality. It is like, when we are children, we are wisked along by guides who we are taught to place our faith and trust in, only to wake up one day when we are older, with much more clarity and consciousness, to realize we don't really know exactly where we are anymore, because at some point, the guides simply left us to wander off on our own and we became lost in the forest of reality. At which point, when we experience this heightened awareness about being lost in reality, we begin to question it. What is the nature of reality? What is it? Why is it? Why am I here? What is the reason for my being in this reality, such as it is? Well, it took me some time to figure it out, but at last, I think I have the answer to most of these questions. What is the nature of reality? -- It is nothing more than a light-matter phenomena that began to evolve out of the primeval magma and slime of the cosmos mulitiple billions of years ago. To think of it as anything more is just an exercise in futility about the details of its composition. What is it? -- Depending upon the individual mind's perspective, it is many different things. But so is the forest of trees and memorizing the details won't make anyone understand it much more. Why is it? -- Because, out of the evolution of primeval magma and slime, anything and everything is possible, given the infinity of time and space. Why am I here? -- Because, out of the evolution of primeval magma and slime, anything and everything is possible, given the infinity of time and space. What is the reason for my being in this reality, such as it is? -- Why should there be a reason? Consciousness that identifies reality is nothing special, it merely is because it is inevitable. Consciousness of reality is not the grandiose godsend concept that we like to think it is, when our ego is flattering us for being so capable of surviving the extremities of our existence. It is nothing but a phenomena, which in the most basic analysis, can be thought of as a "Light Focal Point upon Reality". The human consciousness, in this respect, does not exist for any special purpose or reason, it exists simply because, when all the infinite possibilities of existence are taken into consideration, such a "Light Focal Point" upon reality is an inevitable phenomena. The human mind, in its physical form, evolved into a "Light Focal Point" which has the unique ability to observe and reflect upon reality, which is itself something which was inevitable as the human consciousness evolved. The human ego, in its relentless striving to make an individual a capable master of reality and its own domain, has a tendency to think so highly of itself as to think itself much more than a mere phenomena of the natural evolution of the cosmos, even though, in truth, that is all it actually is. So, what is it about the human mind and consciousness that makes it such a unique phenomena? It acts as a "Light Focal Point" of reality, for one thing, and as such, is capable of observing and reflecting upon reality in a way that an animal in a jungle with less security may not possess. This LFP (Light Focal Point) takes in the light of reality within itself and stores the information within its brain-cells and memory, and even utilizes various forms of classification for data and information, which it can use for cross-referential purposes and the intelligent application of knowledge for affectations upon reality. In other words, the human mind has evolved a very specialized ability to influence reality in many different ways. What exactly is the definitive reasoning for such a reference as "Light Focal Point"? The reference to the human mind and consciousness as a Light Focal Point is an attempt to disuade the pompous ego of humans away from the notions of its mythical arrogance and religions and establish one of the most scientific, basic concepts of what the human mind actually represents in its most basic form to the real, physical world. That basic form is simply a unique phenomena which evolved out of the same primeval slime that everything else in the world evolved from and as such, should not be mistaken for being anything else. When we settle back after a hard day's work and have had our fill of food and drink, and look out into the tree-populated forest of reality with wonder, our most basic notion should not be about the mythical gods we have created by our imagination to flatter our egos and make us feel like kings, it should be the knowledge that we act as Light Focal Points upon a reality that has been evolving from the slime for aeons and that our consciousness is nothing more than an inevitable phenomena of existence. It has nothing to do with gods or kings, so much as the infinite possibilities of existence. Now, what does the LFP have to do with reality? This gets deep into the concept of relativity and individual perspectives. Because all human minds, like individuals, are not the same, then it follows also that all LFP are not the same. The LFP doesn't just act as an observer of reality, it also acts as an interpreter of it. When the LFP looks at something in reality, it identifies it, and also may compare it to information stored in its memory. But how much can the LFP see and understand? We know that the human mind of an individual grows with the individual from childhood, builds memory and evolves. As an LFP, it also evolves in this way. It follows also, then, that the LFP learns to see more as it evolves. In this way, reality itself evolves, as it is interpreted by the LFP. We also know that certain chemicals can affect the mind, or LFP's perspective upon reality. Studies and research done with such chemicals, such as psychotropics, have resulted in many questions about the true nature of reality itself, and when seen through the concept of the human mind as a Light Focal Point, may suggest that reality is much more variable than many of us realize. It has been suggested by such explorers of the nature of reality that reality is controlled and constructed by the powers that be, that is, those people who maintain control over human society and government. The implications stemming from this conclusion further suggest that those powers have specific, selfish reasons for controlling human society and such specific reasons have the effect of limiting the human mind's ability to see, such that it is limited to a specific reality, the reality which those powers confine human society to, much in the same way they confine animals to a zoo after taking them from the wilds. Whether or not the powers that be are being intentionally selfish or not, the effect of making all humans into worker drones in human society does, in fact, also limit the human mind's, or LFPs, ability to see much of the variations upon reality and existence. By controlling the formative years of human children and teaching them to act, behave, and perform in certain specialized ways, pigeon-holing them into classes and categories and placing them into specific groups, orders, and branches of society, the powers that be, or ruling class, are subjecting all humans to a very limited reality and programming all LFPs to see the world through very limited, specialized eyes. Those of us who have experimented with psychotropics or simply have had the heightened conscious states to question reality have been able to sneak peaks beyond the pigeon-hole realities we have been programmed and confined within and have come to realize that reality is much more than our limited programs tell us. By stimulating our LFPs, we can remind ourselves of this fact and spend more time, whenever we have it, accumulating the bits and pieces of odd information we collect during our sneak peaks beyond the limits, such that we may build a better understanding of what may be beyond our little pigeon-holes, in the greater realm of existence.
