If
You Still Don't Get It
The answer is, no, of course not. So give me a break and stop insulting
me.Ever notice that famous wealthy
people never promote themselves by saying "I did this..." or "I did
that..." but still manage to get all the promotional help that they
need to sell their goods to the world?
They do it by paying other people to promote them or do the work for them when they cannot do it themselves, and because self-promos simply don't work as well as when others do it for them. When someone uses their own self-promos, the word "I" gets overdone, but when they let someone else promote them, their name is given plenty of respect by others. In other words, it is okay to let others promote your work, but for some reason it isn't okay to promote your work yourself. Now, here's the problem. Poor people cannot pay others to promote them, but wealthy people can. Is it fair that poor artists such as myself cannot pay others to promote their work and when we try to promote ourselves, people are turned off and say things like, "Who's this guy think he is? He's a nobody and he acts like he's famous or something! What a joke!" Yeah, I'm a joke because I'm too friggin poor to pay others to promote my work, so i am forced to promote myself. I'm a real joke, a poor pathetic joke of a man. Dang, what a friggin loser I am! I mean, I was born into poverty, raised in poverty, and continue to reside below the poverty-line, so I don't have the wealth to pay others to promote my work, so I have to promote myself, so I am a pathetic joke of a man and one of the biggest losers in the friggin world. Yeah, to hell with me, I'm nobody. But I really don't care what anyone thinks, because, if they think all these bad things about me simply because I promote my own work and don't get promoted by anyone else, then they are missing the point. They still don't get it. I am not promoting myself at all, I am merely organizing my work into an online database where it can be accessed by other computers. Anyone that thinks this is a promotional action is missing the point. The point is, should my work be denied access to the internet, simply because I am poor and unknown? Nick Zentor, 10/12/07 Btw, doing good (or at least trying to do good) peace-work has kept me out of trouble and away from criminal activities and helped me escape severe depression and boredom. I may not be good enough to measure up with the wealthy artists that get all the appreciation and attention, but at least i haven't been a big trouble-maker and a major pain in people's back-sides. Anyone that knocks me down for resorting to self-promotion by managing my own web-site on the internet is simply being as dysfunctional as my asshole ugly step-brother, so don't waste your time, I'm completely immune to that shit now. |
