The 4D Earth War
Introduction
It all began in 2086, when Ron Querzo, a space-pilot, crashed on an asteroid and was stranded. On the asteroid he discovered ancient ruins, artifacts, and evidence to support the theory that the asteroids had once been part of a planet, over 100,000 years ago. The planet was referred to as Tranqua, and it supported a civilization of a race of humanoids that may have been ancient ancestors of humans on Earth. Amongst the artifacts he found a set of crystals which transferred his consciousness into a temple of records. The temple of records revealed a tri-dee holographic, virtual-reality, set within the temple of the Lost Planet, Tranqua, as it had been over 100,000 years ago, before its destruction. In the temple, a video-screen displayed recorded information and knowledge of the different time-periods of Tranqua, which varied with the crystal. The crystals taught him many things, including ways to survive under the harsh conditions of the cold, lonely asteroid. But the crystals were not all that he found. He also found the treasure of a king, an almost magical armored space-suit, and the most advanced space-time vehicle ever created. Perhaps the most wonderful thing he discovered of all was netiher machine or treasure, but the immortal soul of a female Tranquan, in the body of a beautiful clone. Her name was T'rwani and she could not rest until she found answers to the destruction of her home-planet. Together, Querzo and T'rwani found each other and were lost no more. She saved his sanity and gave him a greater confidence to survive. He rescued her from an eternity of pointless dissolution. Six years later, in 2092, they rested easier on the Jovian moon, Callisto, at Colony Two. T'rwani was the caretaker of the last Temple of the Lost Planet , a receptacle for the planet Tranqua's knowledge, and Ron Querzo was the head of a mining company and mediator of mining-rites in the asteroid belt. Ron Querzo put the knowledge of Tranqua to good use, improved the Jovian colonies, and constructed solar windships to help transport masses of humans to the colonies from Earth. Earth was in a desperate state. The human population was at its excessive limits, taxing and depleting the resources of the planet. Querzo was a man that believed in expansion, not war, as a solution to the problems of Earth, and the windships were built for that purpose. But before the windships were complete, the tensions on Earth snapped and World War 3 broke out. In his magnificent Tranquan warbird, he raced ahead of the windships to Earth, hoping to prevent the Earth from suffering a fate similar to that of Tranqua. He had to do something, especially after he discovered that the Martians were still around and were meddling with the history of the human race on the planet Earth. |
